I love them and the only time I eat them is when someone brings them at a gathering or party. I've tasted some with onions in them (yuck) and some with sweet pickles in them (not bad). I've done some research online and they don't seem to be a pain to make. what do you guys think of deviled eggs?

Deviled eggs.

My Dad and Mom have made them many times over the years. I have made them a few times myself. If they are for a party a little sprinkle of paprika makes them look really nice. Some people put a little mustard in them.

I enjoy them myself......

Good stuff!
I don't know anyone who doesn't like them.
Traditional picnic or informal party food, and not at all hard to make.
Also, really cheap to make.

If you're up for a culinary adventure, try this: shrimp curried deviled eggs.

Cook 8 hard boiled eggs, cut them in half, and scoop out and mash the yolks. Add 1/3 cup mayo, 1/2 t spoon salt, 1/2 t spoon paprika, 1/2 t spoon curry powder, 1/4 t spoon mustard powder. Mix that with the mashed yolks and add back to the egg halves.

For the sauce, blend 2 tablespoons of melted butter with 2 tablespoons of flour. Add that to 1 can of cream of shrimp Campbells soup and add 1 can of milk (use the soup can). Cook that until it's thick and bubbly, then add 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Spray a casserole and add the eggs, then cover them with the sauce. Sprinkle top with melted butter and bread crumbs. Bake at 350 for about 15 minutes.

Sounds weird, but it's the bomb.

Seriously, try it. We make them every year as part of Christmas dinner. They are always the first left over to disappear, usually by the next day. I believe my mom doubles the sauce part of the recipe though because it's sooooooooo so good.
