Greece have always been one of Europes poorest countries and anyway they can retire at 50, Here in sweden we have to work until 65 and they have been speaking for last years to raise it to 67.
Greece have insane problems with corruption and now when Germany try to help them to control their economy they refuse to take any help from the germans they only want the money, All money sent to Greece are lost in the corrupt system and thats the way they want keep the system.
They have a horrible personell overcapacity in government owned companies and have always had that and if they dont want cut down on personell now during the crisis when will they do it??
Greece have been Europes black sheep for many years and there is a lot of hate against Greece from the populations in other European countries now and if they fail to get rid of the corruption and change the way they handle their economy there will be no else outcome than a bankruptcy.
If they choose a bankruptcy they have totally lost all confidence from european banks, companies and populations, Their way back up on the road will be very hard because of that.
I have already heard from many people here in sweden that they start to boycott greece products and also vacation trips to Greece because they dont want support their corrupt system anymore.
