Great synthesizers use in a song

Significant to me is the Oberheim, famous for ”the System” which was an OBX keyboard, DMX drum machine and DSX sequencer. Lots of great stuff came out of Oberheims: Rush-Tom Sawyer, Van Halen-Jump, Prince-1999, Simple Minds-Don’t you Forget About Me, The System’s “You are in my System”...Now who’s got an Oberheim 4 voice in their closet?
Wendy Carlos, or the Silver Apples were the first synthetic records we owned, but The Who‘s Baba O’Reily might be my all time favorite song...and it’s technically not a syntheticesizer.

Found this years ago when Nvidia was promoting their new video card hardware, which was used in the animation.
This sounds really good through a decent home stereo.

Starship Groove is cool to watch, too.
