Are you sure about the Fusion? I just went onto the IIHS site and saw only the test without the airbags (the 500 has been tested with the side airbags and does well). Undoubtedly it will do better with side airbags than without, and I think that they become standard in 2007 on Fusion, but so far it hasn't been tested.

State Farm gives the Fusion a 20% vehicle safety discount. The 4-door Camry gets a 10% vehicle safety discount. (For those who think SUVs are safer, the Expediton also gets a 20% vehicle safety discount).
