The Daytona 500 is the Great American Circus. And with all the help from the officials, Tony still fizzled. They just parade identical cars around in a circle waiting for a crash. If they don't have a couple of big crashes it isn't a NASCAR (National Association of Slamming Cars Against the Rails) race. If you're not a favored son, they will get you in tech inspection, or there is the black flag. It's too bad that the foreign driver from El Cajon, California, that they nailed in tech still one the race. Oops.
Walking under the XB70 at WPAFB took my breath away !! Loved the IMAX also .

Man, what is up with Tony? He was bouncing people all over the place.
I thought Jeff was going to win and JJ had no shot with the circus atmosphere that was surrounding his team all week. I'm happy for JJ that he was able to keep focus during the race and pull out a win.
He was lucky too because "crybaby" one lap wonder Newman had a shot but Casey didn't follow him when he went to go pass JJ in turn 3.
