Gran Torino Movie

Went and saw the Gran Torino movie tonight with Clint Eastwood playing the leading role. Thought it was superbly done with funny, shocking, touching, sad and retrospective moments.

Has anyone else seen it? Comments?

I really enjoyed it also. Certainly not for anyone who is easily offended by racial slurs, Clint used all of them.

The Hmong kid, Thao (Clint called him Toad) came from the area where I live. His real name is Bee Vang. I know and work witj lots of Hmong and especially Cambodians.

Huh? How did you manage to misinterpret what I posted as a mood issue? I just don't care to discuss movies that I've already discussed.

Reminded me of my cousin's old neighborhood. Anyone familiar with the Motor City would recognize street signs (e.g. Charlevoix) and landmarks.
