Thought I'd give you guys a quick overview of the 3M Performance Finish I recently used on my truck. I got several sachets of this stuff at the 3M sponsored NASCAR race at Michigan. 3M is touting this stuff as a very durable and long term wax replacement. Overall I've found 3M's paint/automotive products to be very good. So far I can say if the durability holds up very well it will be worth the effort to use it as the water beading of this stuff is far better than anything I've ever seen.
What I mean by the effort is compared to the Nanowax I've been using, but that stuff is almost rediculously easy to apply and buff off. However, I've been looking for something more durable. I did learn the hard way that this stuff doesn't like a warm surface at all and you definitely have to do it by small areas at a time. Otherwise the haze will definitely show up in the right light and viewing angle. Seems like this could be a replacement for the other more expensive synthetic sealants at a much better cost.
