Our company work truck. Used for around town deliveries. Started giving us problems and the boss got a new 250. This one sat around and he offered it to me for $1000. I'll take it.

2018 F250 regular cab XL 2WD with the 6.2 and 253k miles. Runs pretty good but needed brakes all around and front wheel bearings immediately. Already changed the coolant. Need to do transmission fluid and brake fluid and power steering fluid and spark plugs.

I was under the impression it didnt run. The warehouse manager was like no it runs. I went and got a battery and it fired right up. It did have issues with it killing the battery but I think that might have been the cameras in it. Those are gone and so is that issue. It definitely needs a fuel pump. But it should fit my needs. I dont daily drive my truck. I have a 1995 F150 that I use for truck purposes and this is quite an upgrade.

Congratulations on your new truck. That's a great deal! From the repairs and services that you say it needs, and what you have done, you should have a decent truck for only a few hundred more that what you paid for it.

What a steal!
even with the relatively high mileage... in that shape its definitely worth putting even... $5000 in...
if necessary.

That’s a steal. If it were me, I’d find some take off factory alloys from a guy who’s trying to bro his truck up and install a newer radio(if Ford didn’t do weird things like MyFord or Sync in an XL, else you’ll need a integration adapter).

But for $1K and the shape the truck has been - looks like was decently maintained, that’s a deal.

I think you were employee of the month! Nice reward for keeping the boss happy, much better than your picture on the wall!

I kinda like the steelies. It needs a couple of center caps though. Definitely gonna get a radio in it. AM/FM only sucks. Especially since one of the guys busted off the antenna so some stations don't come in all that great.

This truck made it to 250k with oil changes only. I don't think we did anything to it other than that. I have now implemented a service plan for the trucks. We got an F750 with a power stroke and that bad boy ain't gonna make it to 100k with the same kind of maintence plan this truck has been on.

Good on Ya!! I just liked your heading!

Nice truck and great deal! I'm assuming it has the 6 speed transmission. Good combo, it seems as if that's the best motor transmission combo to find.
