Love these threads.I had bad experience with Goodyear tires, where their warranty is 60,000 miles, but the tires only last 20,000 miles, and warranty is not honored due to some technicality.
Back in the 1970's Goodyear was dominent. They were in the Dow Jones 30, they had the Goodyear blimp hovering over all the important football games. But their poor management allowed the company to lose market share over the years due to producing inferior tires in my opinion.
I feel like Dunlop as an aftermarket tire is neglected. Sumitomo is more interested in their namesake brand and Falken for replacements.
Mine was late 90s. Haven't purchased any sinceLove these threads.
How many decades ago was your "bad experience"?
In some cases none - have had good runs with GY - but from a GY store - and just one made "exclusively" for DT (means something else at Walmart)Love these threads.

wide range $ from the Walmart specials to the Kevlar AT's - or Eagle GT F1 SC3Weren't Goodyears always a bit on the expensive side? You paid for the blimp.
While that's true.. My experience with Dunlop in the 90s was terrible. Junk tires, could never balance them up, run out was ridiculous, not true, etc.. I had forgotten Dunlop was even around anymore. They died for a good reason, they weren't that good back then.. and here we are today. You would agree that products made in the last 30 years as well as manufacturing technics are probably different than the tires you purchased-back in the day.
Google says they are made in Japan by SumitomoWhat about the golf balls?
