Goodyear Closing Findlay, OH molding plant

Just saw on the Local News, that Goodyear is Closing the Mold plant in Findlay, which I believe was the Cooper Tire mold Facility before the Merger.

I suspect this is a secondary plant for Cooper Tire as I thought they employed A LOT more people in Findlay, certainly at least pre-merger. Yeap, it's separate .... still not good though !

I know a couple guys who worked there that I used to dock my boat next to at the lake. It’s been years , so I hope that they’ve retired by now. I’m actually considering a set of Eagles for my next purchase. Priced right with good reviews and look pretty sporty.

Yeah, this is an old Cooper mold making plant. It only makes sense to consolidate tire mold production elsewhere.
