Good pad and rotor combo for a heavy SUV

They were pretty good.
I had a chevy 1500 I towed with that was a notorious pad imprinter before I landed on Hawks.
I got 2x the life out of frozens Vs stock OEM.
That’s about where I am with ebc rotors. Oem on Nissan= good pads, rotors not so much. Unless someone can convince me cryo rotors are twice as good, because they’re more than twice as much, I don’t think I’d bite.

I think I may try NRS galvanized stuff that is semi metallic or Hawk HPS 5.0
Ill call hawk and ask them why they hate me.
If you have dark rims and or go through the car wash often then try red stuff pads. Akebono nissan oem are great pads. Ebc rotors and red stuff pad will set launch an unbelted passenger through the windshield. But dusty for the 1st 10k. Im piecing together green stuff pads and enc rotors for our 18 rogue after the brembos (which are great btw) after they wear out.

When your vehicle with anything pad will set launch an unbelted passenger through the windshield your brakes are rubbish.
.
What? They’re anything but “rubbish”. When I can stop on a dime with the right tires and brake set up, I hardly think that’s “rubbish”! I don’t even know what that’s supposed to mean?

Or you drive a Jeep Compass....worst grabby brakes I've ever driven, and it is pad independant.

OP.

I've been really pleased with Bendix Fleetetlok's on the Ranger, and I abuse that thing every other weekend in the summer hauling 6000# + of travel trailer.

Agreed. I had a Jeep Compass as a rental car. The brakes were the worst, most extremely grabby brakes I've ever experienced. The vehicle was terrible to drive because of it. I assumed there was a problem with the brake pads, but I guess not. Terriblely engineered vehicle.
