GM updated dexos 1 list

Yep, and goes above and beyond in volatility and turbocharger protection. In short, it's supposed to be better than SN/GF5 oils.

Havoline Synthetic 5W-30 should be on that list. Chevron shows the dexos1 license number on their data sheet.

I wonder how much it will matter. Most people I know with GMs that spring for synthetic and change their own oil grab Mobil 1 because "it's what the Corvette uses."

When I posted a link to the updated list I did not see Havoline, but on second glace (or maybe the list has been updated again) you are absolutely right. Havoline has multiple oils on the list. Only downer is that it's hard to find in my area.

Great to see this addition finally. Now we can use the same oil in my father's 2011 Burb that I use in my 2007 Dodge GC...priceless.
