No I don’t really need a gun, but what the heck. Glock has it’s ‘blue label’ program open to military veterans, until 11 November. The regular 1st responders can buy also of course. The discount is about 20% off ‘normal’ retail. You have to buy/order from a ‘blue label’ dealer.

I brought my DD-214 in yesterday & ordered a Glock 42, other contender was a 43. Of course there wasn’t anything close in stock. They said it could be a week, or a few months.

Just putting it out there for guys/gals with prior service, no need to be military retired. I bought a few years ago under the same program, just jump through one or two hoops. I’m more an H&K guy, but my Glock 23 was shooting great the other week.

Cabela's, or at least the Richard behind the counter in East Grand Forks, MN, quoted me MSRP for a long gun recently, that they did not have in stock (they carried the brand). I ordered and purchased the same rifle, within walking distance for $300 less at Scheels.

That’s a good deal. If the Blue Label Glocks are in stock, there’s no better way to go. Particularly during these times.

Sig has a similar program. I just got a P365XL with the red dot for $596.

Another LGS has the same pistol for $900.

I’m half thinking about a Glock #45 next time I’m near the ‘blue label’ dealer. I doubt it’s in stock, it is an easy order process.

Best Glock I‘ve ever owned and I’ve owned quite a few.
