Glass not being taken as recyclable anymore

The 4 town facility we use has been recycling glass for 25+ years. They made a glass crusher out of a wood chipper that can be used for fill in road projects. Two of the member towns highway deparments use the finely material.

I got asked not to throw the aluminum pet food containers in with the aluminum cans as the man stated they get paid less for the bundle if it has other than beer/pop type cans, he than directed me to throw them in with the tin cans. And when they limited the type of cardboard I asked about the laundry soap box and one guy directed me to their trash bin saying 'when in doubt, throw it out'. And it seems they've stopped charging for antifreeze if it's clean, appears they just stock it into the reuse center so it's available for free pickup.
