Good foggy morning folks

So Thursday as i was changing the drivers side headlight bulb (a Sylvania 9005 that cost me $8.97)
The gentleman that lives upstairs comes home in his 2011 Hyundai Elantra with both drivers side windows blown out and severe damage on car. Guess he decided to try and run a red light against a Ford F-550 truck. I am guessing car is totalled as doors are destroyed and will open with some struggle and pillar you can see dividing front and back doors is bent badly as is area right above rocker panel. I took him to hospital to be checked over and he is thinking its time to give up his license as he has had 2 similar accidents in less than 2 years. He has mental illness and admitted to me once that with his medications he is on he feels he shouldnt be driving. He is ok and i am helping him any way i can. Thanks for listening and keep him in your thoughts.

Thank You all

At least he knows when!
Good on you, most wouldn't even care.
He is a very lucky person to have a bud like you.

Well, i stopped over to local NAPA and friend works at body shop his car was taken to. My friend said they totalled the car. Shame, as car had like 30k on it

Well said. Sorry for your friend's misfortune but he's said it himself....best to be off the road before someone gets hurt or worse.

Glad to hear he's ok. Just a fraction of a second difference and things could have been much worse. He's also lucky to have you as his friend.

Yeah, the car was in immaculate condition too.

Shame it's totaled also

Good for you for taking him to get checked out. My Aunt & Uncle had to take my Grandmothers drivers license years back. Totaled two cars in two years and the last was running a red light. Good luck to your buddys health overall.

. He is okay luckily and going to be using bus service but he doesn't do much or go many places. We walked to the local butcher place near me today. Then made grilled pork chops and steaks on grill. He had some fresh green tea while I had a GENNY CREAM ALE
