Belief in a religion and belief in ghosts and the supernatural are not the same thing.

One is invisible people here on earth. One is invisible people that live in the sky. Both require magical thinking.

We both believe that there is more going on around us than we can see and we are both open to that on a scientific level.

It's all DNA. Are there ghost plants? Feeling something that's not there is actually a known phenomenon, it's called Phantom vibration syndrome, you can look up the wiki on it. Probably the same with the cat, you feel your cat brushing up on you and you've grown to anticipate it even when it's not there. It's not a ghost.

That's him just outside the upstairs window. I sense he's there on a spiritual visit to see his father, whom I also sense was trapped in that home (for unknown reasons).

At the time of this photo, the son's energy-level was very strong. Very little translucency or holographic transmission of him present there.

Oh, please. Ghosts aren't real, that image is just a quirk of old photographic tech. Long shutter times cause all sorts of funny effects with things that don't hold perfectly still. Like curtains blowing out a window briefly....

I don't see a ghost, rather some sort of artifact that could've been some dirt on the lens, could've been created by light reflecting off of something or it could've been created during development, and I'm sure there are way more possible and rational causes to this artifact.

And by the way, above the middle window that is open, there also appears to be an artifact of some sorts. Why didn't OP pick that one as the ghost?

^ LOL!

What is funny about that?

Yes, please explain.

I'm all for a scientific explanation for this and anything else, believe me. But seeing and feeling something very specific, then another person having exactly the same experience is hard to wrap your brain around. Interesting whatever it is.

Yeah that's some intelligent dirt on the lens.
Sure more rational causes... no problem with that. Or it may simply be what it appears to be.

It's very easy for people to jump to conclusions when there are other more logical and mundane explanations. It's estimated that almost 5% of the population has some sort of mental health issue. Do people with mental health issues know that they're crazy? When they hear voices in their head, I'm sure it's very real to them, but it doesn't mean that there are actually people out there who can speak directly to someone else in their head. Nor does that mean it's ghosts that are talking to them.

Wrong! Pets like dogs, cats and even horses have souls and can subject us to connectivity with them. And to the moderators here, souls are not religious, so don't preclude I'm talking religion. Even atheists have souls.

My animals have more soul than most the people I know and see.
Give me a dog for a buddy any day over a person.

It is hard to disagree.

Yep, as expected, you guys have nothing at all to add.

440Magnum said the first half when he referred to long shutter times.

In that photo someone simply looked out the window (probably at the camera-judging by the angle of the face) then pulled his head back in the window.

And, as much as I love animals, no dog, cat or bear has ever helped me change my oil. Oh what a stir a trained bear would cause working in a garage.

(probably have to get his nails trimmed)
