Spectrum actually (charter renamed)

We recently switched from Comcast cable (Internet/TV) to Frontier Fios 30/30. Saved a bundle, some extra deals like free Amazon Prime and an Amazon gift card, etc. I don't remember the previous speed we had with Comcast but I believe we stepped down. But so far the experience with FIOS is it really is 30/30. I just did a test and it was exactly 30/30. With Comcast you could have burst speed but it seemed to fluctuate much more. Not sure if true but the installer said that with FIOS you are much more likely to get a consistent speed than with other providers.

According to Netflix for HD streaming you only need 5mbps. So far we have had no issues streaming Netflix, Amazon, etc with the 30/30.

100/100 FIOS only is more like $85/month here (not sure if there are special deals) vs 30/30 of $40/month.

This^ I have had FIOS for years and it is always slightly above my plan speed and consistent day or night. It doesn't slow down during "rush hour".
