Generator oil change

First off, welcome to the forum. I just did a oil change on my pressure washer. Honda GX390, I used Delo 400 XLE 10W30 which is a synthetic blend. Where abouts in Canada are you from? Possibly if you use a 5W30, it will be easier to start in the cold.
Mobil 1 High Mileage 10W30 or Rotella T5 10w30
I use Rotella T6 in my 5KW Briggs. Cut oil consumption to almost nothing.

I use any syn 5w30 that I find cheap. Never have had a problem. reason I use 5w is because the snowblower uses the same oil and starting it at -30 sucks!
Am I slipping, or did Rotella have a 15w30 at some point in time?
I see now they carry
T1- 10w, 30, 40, 50
T3- 10w30, 15w40
T5- 10w30, 10w-40, 15w40
T6- 5w-40
I see now they carry
T1- 10w, 30, 40, 50
T3- 10w30, 15w40

20 bucks a gallon at Wally, sometimes less. I use it in a Briggs genset, a snow blower, a Honda mower, and three of my Camrys. The new V6 is gets M1 5W 30 because that's the only grade the book lists. Both the genset and the blower have started from cold in close to zero weather, on one pull. All three OPE units are splash lube which it is suggested are actually hard on multigrade oil in some ways.

Rotella T5 10w30 is what I use. It's a synthetic blend that is a HDEO and priced right at WM.
I also like T5 10w30 oil. Use it in a couple Honda EU2000i's & in a Yamaha-engined Rigid gen set. Also sees duty in my 5.9l Cummins but that's besides the point...

Syn oil for me. It has a cold flow, heat/shear stable, and gives a cushion on oci's during extended runs.
0/5w oils for cold storage, heavy weight for heated units.
I do use dino hdeo's in my summer use units, when low on cheap syn oil.
