Here are the results from my latest and past 2 UOA's. I am happy about the drop in copper but a little concerned about the rise in Chromium. Any input reguarding my #'s would be appreciated. I drive this car hard. It sees WOT in first and second gears daily. I am using a stock paper air filter and a Delco oil filter. I added 12oz of Grantize MOS to the German Castrol for this fill. As well 1qt of Motul 10w40 was added for the last 2k miles of the 7k fill. I could not find anymore GC to use as makeup oil. I am giving PP 10w30 a try on my current fill.

Numbers look about the same for all 3 oils. I don't seen any improvement with GC. PP would be a good choice.

Chromium is so low it is nothing to worry about. All the numbers look good except the iron an copper, but I suppose the engine is still breaking in. It is really hard to judge any oil with the engine being rather new and wear trending down, but all the oils seem to have performed similarly well.

With such a hodge podge of fluids in the crank, it's tough to figure out what's going on here. If you can stay with just PP for a couple of fills and then do another UOA, that would help us evaluate the engine's operating condition and trends over similar OCI's.

Sorta. He's got fairly consistent numbers except for the decreasing copper ...which will probably continue to retreat ...yet he's got a longer OCI ..

..but there's nothing there to fret about. I'd try not to switch hit for an OCI or two ..even if the first one (choose some common length of service) is a little off.
