Gas price Panic buying at it's finest!

Allways gas up Friday afternoon. Gas went up approx .50 since last Friday (mostly all today I think). Pity it seems pretty normal to sink $80. into a tank of premium each week!

Still LOVE my Silverado SS though. Thing hauls arse better than anything I've owned since the early '70s!

Hope the loss of life in small, but don't think emergency service personel should go in harms way for those who've intentionally disregarded evac orders.

Close to my office is an Irving gas station, They are selling gas about 10 cents a gallon less than the other stations in the area. Place is packed. Waiting 20 minutes to save 2$.BTW, Irving has replaced all the Citgo stations around here.

Gas prices went from 1.22/L yesterday to 1.38/L today and are expected to go up another 15 cents a litre tonight. This is ridiculous. I filled the car up yesterday.

Gas went up 35 cents a gallon here (10%).

Crude oil barrel prices barely budged in the past two days!!!

Can you say "GOUGING"...???

Gas went up $1 per gallon here. At 0530 on my way to work 3.69 at the same stations on the way home...at 1030pm.....4.69.

What a bunch of [censored].

Umm. I don't get it. Absolutely no lines around here and gas is still going down. In fact it went down 2 or 3 cents today. I just filled up the work van at $3.43 a gallon. Should I be worried.

I'm surprised some of you guys are not more upset because many here at BITOG go out of their way to save 50 cents on an oil filter.

is the storm affecting michigan?

Michigan is somewhat unique in the nation in that it is the last stop in the maze of pipelines that distribute gasoline across the country. If there is any hiccup in supply, Michigan is the first to suffer.

Otherwise, the storm isn't affecting Michigan anymore than the rest of the US.

Interesting how in a blizzard when we are told to stock up milk and eggs they dont go up.
Does plywood double in price when hurricanes approach?
Seems to me that I dont remember this happening to gas prices 20 years ago,I think oil companies have phycologist on staff

Looks like the stations around here have jumped up to around $3.559-3.659/gallon for regular unleaded. I filled up earlier in the week for $3.399/gallon.

I, for one, am not playing into their psychology. I have enough gas to last me two weeks. Hopefully supply and demand will bring the price to where it should be by the time I need to fill up.

I went to the zoo today. I passed by a ton of stations. most are in the 3.99-4.09 range. However, there are lots of plastic pumps on the pumps for regular and mid grade! so the panic buyers whose vehicles take regular gas, if the pumps are out of regular, they are buying up the mid grade! Lots of premium fuel pumps up not tagged

3.619 today, 3.599 a week ago.

I'm shaking in my little boots.

All y'all getting gas for 3.30, it will average out in your favor within a couple months.

4.299 (Shell) to 3.599 (Raceway - off brand) here within 1/2 mile of each other. Hmm. The Shell station was out of premium & therefore mid-grade as well.
