I pass this one 2x a day. It's at a busy intersection with a McDonald's,Target,Home depo and several other businesses.

Regular was $6.25 yesterday.

Wonder if they got a better deal on the last fill they got or maybe they dropped the price in order to bring in more customers.

There is another chevron a few Blocks away and they had Regular @$4.89.

BTW Fastrip is $5.05

With these high prices I noticed people are starting to slow down a little bit. I usually drive 60mph on the freeway and a few other people were doing the same. The price at Sinclair was $5.45 for 87 a couple of days ago. $40 got me only about 7.35 gallons. It doesn't help that we're paying $0.91 per gallon tax in this state.

Either that or continue to drive 85 mph and then come on BITOG and ask about if they can put 0w-8 in their 2007 Tahoe to save some MPGs
I think all the speed limit signs in town could be reduced by 10mph.

The roads are too tore up to drive 50mph on the city streets unless you want to throw your car out of alignment.

Guess they didn't meet their sales expectations.
There comes a point when convenience prices itself out of the market.
Enough people decided they didn't want to pay $6,25 a gallon for the exact same thing that they can get for $4.89 down the road.

I agree, the proliferation of SUV's and trucks are only logical given the condition of the roads.
It's like we live in a third-world country!
...actually, many third-world countries have better roads than N. America.

Don't worry. It will go up again. Until situations improve, expect the price to keep increasing.

Gas was $3.75 today
With discount the gas went to 3.25 (30cent adv pay and 20c random discount)per gallon

then redeemed perks which with the 50% bonus on redeeming for 30 gallons of fuel
made it the equivalent of $2.13 per gallon in perks. ($0 out of wallet)
