The people in California will vote themselves a $2.00 per gallon tax increase with that news.

We already pay more state tax per gallon than most states, combining Federal and state tax we are paying around $0.70-0.75 a gallon, we are not going to pay more gas tax so they will give more benefits to illegal aliens.

Paid 1.73 for Shell 87 in Delawhere tonight. I could have went with a no name place for 1.67. Pa has just broken the $2 mark in some places.

Back in 1989, when I was on LPG, I got paid 2 cents per litre to drive for a while. LPG was down to 5 cents per litre, and that was including the 7 cent per litre refundable tax. So, I'd shell out 5 cents per litre at the pump, mail in my receipts, and get 7 cents per litre back. Of course, that didn't last long.

I think your special blends have more influence than anything else on high prices. Last time I checked, NC has the highest state taxes on gas at the pump around this area (they also have good roads).

$1.55 a gallon here. Hope it goes down more!

I should get a 55 gallon drum and fill it for when summer prices go up....

and you also have a variety of houses for sale for under $100k.

Looks like a supply and demand issue.
No one wants to pay very much to live there, no matter the gas or housing prices.

Jealous...

Paying 1$ per litre here...prices go up when the cost of a barrel decreases, id like to know who is getting the proceeds? We are getting ripped off here.

It's all a ploy to bring attention to the upcoming Tip Up Town at Houghton Lake: http://www.visithoughtonlake.com/tipuptown.shtml

This actually a sturgeon fishing photo. Nice bait.

That's about what it is like here in Southern Illinois/ST. Louis. Usually Missouri is 10-30 cents a gallon cheaper than Illinois but last I checked it was almost identical hovering around 1.70-1.79/gallon.
