Does anyone use this type of oil filters?
because I installed it yesterday with valvoline synpower 5w30 and I thought that it would not do the job for the next change which is 5k mi.At least is it better than Fram??
Any recommendation will be highly appreciated.

OIL FILTER / V4620 SAME

Thanks in advance,

If your engine is pretty new and in good shape, then almost any filter will go 5K miles. Has this car had synthetic oil in it before?

Reason I'm curious is because if this engine is older and has never had synthetic oil, the filter could load up due to the cleaning action of the synthetic. Need a little more info on your engine and history to know if a low end filter can go 5K miles or not.

My .02;

I wouldn't recommend it. It's actually a cheap off shore copy. They've copied the Group 7/Purolator numbering while trying to copy a look of Fram. These are becoming more popular especially in cities where fly by night guys can unload them to garages for next to nothing.

They'll screw on and likely not leak, but I wouldn't stake my reputation on them. There are a lot of these off shore guys coming in now and they look pretty, but aren't great in the quality department.

Of course, what you are saying is what I was thinking about and also there is another brand name called DJ Eleven which is made in China.

Actually my car is Toyota Sienna 2006 3.3L and the mileage so far 66k miles

I can't find any real information on this oil filter, other than its being of Asian (read Chinese) origin and available for $2.00.
This could actually be a well made copy of a decent filter design, or it could be garbage.
If someone wants to cut one open, they might find it to be a very well made filter at a real bargain price.
Who knows?
If I were you, I might just spin the thing off, spin something of known quality on, replace whatever little oil was lost, and go merrily along out to the planned end of my OCI.
You could also leave it on and nothing bad will likely happen.
How brave do you feel?

Fram makes a good filter, I doubt that the G77 is better.
Why would you buy the absolute cheapest filter you could find for a Toyota Sienna, install it, AND THEN ASK what we think of it???...

I "think" the same of it as you do.

I actually did not do that. I went to close lube shop and he claimed that they have a Valvoline filters along with oils. Thus, I believed him and he changed the oil with this unknown oil filter. He lied to me that's all.
