G35...has anyone pulled an oil sample?

Tried to do this tonight but the dipstick is placed in the most awkward, inaccessible place the Infiniti engineers could come up with!

I was wondering if there were any G35 owners on the board who's had success here. I didn't want to buy a fumoto valve, but will definitely get a Fram Sure Drain if I knew which part # to get. If the Sure Drain is not available, what other option do I have?

How would I pull a sample?

You can obviously do it with the drain, but doing prior to a change can result in adding a lot of oil.

I know, but taking a sample from the drain... I'll never be comfortable with the integrity of the sample. I'll always feel it's contaminated.

I use the Fram unit and love it. Even if the Infinity isn't listed, I would be quite surprised if the drain plug is any different than a Max or Altima w/ the 3.5.
