G-Body as part of the halftime show of Super Bowl LIX.

I saw that. I don't know who he was, but kind of disrespectful to the GNX to be standing on the hood.
Wasn’t a real car, it was probably an old Regal made up to look the part.

There were dancers coming up out of the stage through a hole in the underside of the car to exit it.

The car was almost certainly nothing special, so no real disrespect IMO.

It was a real car. Kendrick Lamar's most recent album was titled GNX. His dad drove him home from the hospital in a Regal. He later got a GNX. He has a connection to the GNX.

Sadly, the car used on stage didn't survive. It was an actual GNX that was sourced for the show, according to Road & Track.

Too bad, for a stage piece, they could have used an older T-Type and fabed it like a GNX, instead of ruining a limited number car.

Ugh, that’s depressing.

Right up there with all those Chargers destroyed by the Dukes of Hazzard. Loved the show as a kid. As an adult, it breaks my heart that they killed over 80 chargers for that show.

Nice to see the car also guessed GN, standing on the hood not so much. Just a car right? I can tolerate rap just as long as it takes to turn the channel. Not in the target audience.
Same here. LOVE all Buick muscle cars from the early years all the way to the later ones. Buick created some of the most feared cars to ever run down the quarter mile strips. There is even a long standing / still ongoing competition to this day between the guys and gals who pilot those 70s Buick GranSports vs the 70s Road Runners and Plymouth GTXs. All of them are hard to beat on any given day so it makes for some fine races.
As far a rap goes, the older the wife and I get, we often agree we are definitely NOT the target audience for just about anything these days. Well maybe for the drug commercials, AARP, or pain creams and pain pills. Medical marijuana? Supplemental health insurance etc..... ouch.

Didnt watch. Dont care. Not my money. I am a fan of alot of his music. But he tends to stand on Gbodies anyways...this one where he is standing on an 82 or 83 Malibu stings me more personality then a GNX (if it was even a real GNX). Same video has a Gbody Cutlass in it.
