Fun driving air filter

Last year I put these in my 2023 Toyota Toyota Corolla Cross hybrid I’ve driven just 30k miles or so with this air filter and I decided to switch it out since it’s been almost a full year. And I drive around alot of road construction.

The deformity happened after I began examining the pleats.
Pretty good for a cheap Chinese filter from Amazon. I will probably run this one a little longer maybe 18 months same type of service.

Looks like an STP XL, which is what I was using in the Honda while it was still with us.

Just a generic name given for the Amazon sale they were great probably won’t change the one that’s in there for 40 or 50,000 miles. Only reason I was worried was they were so tiny, but it doesn’t seem to matter. The sealing material held up fine. In fact, I’ll probably put a label on it to replace at 100 K and see how it did.
