So i play their game and give them $2 extra to get 10K more miles.
IMHO the TG is priced wrong.. who wouldnt want to spend $2 for 10k more miles?
Tough Guard cartridges can go over 20k, too. I just took one out with >25k. After I wicked most of the oil out, it looks like new, except obviously darker.

I agree that Tough Guards are priced too close to Ultras.

My wife has a 2013 fit so I was curious about that. Do you run the ultra for 15k? Isn't the stock filter suppose to be able to do that too?

Im sure the 'stock' filter would be just fine at that too.. its a Fram Tough Guard painted blue as far as i understand. Here is a comparison https://bobistheoilguy.com/forums/threads/cut-open-tg-7317-honda-a02.202072/

With that being said the Tough Guard box says its good up to 10K and the Ultra box says its good up to 20K

The Honda Fram filter isn't the same as a TG. This fact is from Motorking who used to post here, a Fram tech director.

What are the differences?

The A02 filter is in the 50-60% efficient at 20um range compared to the PH7317 that is 95% @ 20um and TG7317 that is 99% @ 20um.

frequently called a Fram Clone.. but yes there are differences.

Wix XP for me, picked up a few when they went on sale this past summer, work as advertised.
