I add a little MMO to all the OPE gas, 2 stroke and 4 stroke. The full tank of stabilized gas in the snow blower had seriously degraded over the off season. Same with the Toro mower. I dumped both tanks and had no trouble with with fresh gas. When the battery was newer in the sitdown, I could just park the mower in the shed and run the carb dry with the shutoff. This is my standard practice if there is a shut off on the engine. A lot less carb troubles since I started doing this and using MMO
