I recently replaced the in-tank fuel pump in my 93 Suburban along with the fuel gauge sender assembly and new strainer. It was sure a pain. It works fine now, however when standing outside of the truck near the rear I do hear the whine of the fuel pump. Maybe I am just focusing on it now and it was there all along. Not sure. The new pump is a Napa fuel pump.
