Is it ok to use worm drive clamps on this type of hose? As far as the material goes, It has to be one of the toughest hoses with probably the highest burst pressure rating on most cars, but I am concerned about the teeth cutting into the hose overlap on the metal nipple causing a leak. Is it better to go with the solid inner surface clamps?

Thanks.

Fuel injection clamps are much better. Worm drive clamps are generally garbage unless it is a lined and constant torque model.

yeah I guess that's what I meant when I said solid surface clamps. Thanks

I've used worm drive clamps on beaters just to keep them limping along. No problems yet. If you care about the car, or don't want future problems use the right tool for the job
