Free lifetime oil change. FCP Euro.

Folks please comment only on FCP’s Lifetime Replacement program. Not customer service, Otherwise I will have to lock the thread. Thanks.

How are the two not related? The topic isn't just about the program but the process and that entails the customer experience, if it's worth it, how it's worked for others, if there's good customer service or not. People are making decisions on if they should bother with the service based on what info they can gather. This is part of that process and not only is the customer service, who accepts your returns and issues the credits, directly related but it's part of the "is it worth it" equation. A bit tight on the reigns.

They're definitely two halves of the same coin. They've skated by on the LRG bump to their reputation, but when you're constantly using it for replacing parts that show up broken... I spoke with one of their higher ups this spring about it (because they tried to weasel their way out of honoring a replacement on some coilpacks so I escalated via some VW contacts) and got a nicely comp'd order and a promise that they're working on it, but then the very next order they sent me had a broken haldex pump.
It's always just complete absence of packing material, causing parts to be dented or snapped off. Simple, cheap stuff to fix in the shipping department. But they're clearly cutting corners.

I don't rely on them much any more because of it, I'd rather spend less to get stuff safely in my hands the first time instead of spending more on everything to get store credit later.
