Fram XG6607 used one season on my Yamaha Raptor 660.

Ran Supertech Full Synthetic Four Stroke Motor Cycle 10w40.

Pleat spacing in one area was rather wide but the rest was ok. Didn’t fail at least.

Yamaha OEM filter went back on with some more Supertech FS Four Stroke MC oil.

Horrible pleat spacing in an area. Yes, didn’t tear and did the job. Guess engine is cleansing itself. Great pics, Thank You my friend. 🙏👍🇺🇸🍻

Short pleats helped mitigate the big wide pleat in this case. Plus that engine probably isn't putting out huge pump volume. The leaf spring sure looks cut down to the bare minimum area on the sides 90-degrees to the ears.

Is there room for the 7317 up-size if interested in going that route?
