Next up, no expiration date but we require any legit FRAM distributor to return or destroy any stock more than 7 yrs old.
Last- The X2 ceased production early 2006 and was replaced by Extended Guard, which is now Ultra.
Please let me know if I can answer any further questions, I am working at a trade show for the next week so email is the best way to reach me

I do have a favor to ask. Please make an effort to stop referring to ExtraGuard filters as OCOD. There are 3500 people working in plants in ohio and illinois making 200 million of these filters a year. If it was indeed a OCOD, how on earth could we even stay in business? Just asking a favor here.
Great response Jay -- thanks.
I had to Google "Julian Calendar" to learn more. Unless I am misunderstanding something, 247 should be Sep 4th, 2013.
I looked at the FRAM filters I have in my stash and noticed the Ultra XG7317, bought in Canada, was not stamped. I am assuming filters sold outside the US are not date stamped? I have two other filters, the Ultra XG9972 and TG4967. Both were purchased in the US and both have been stamped.
