Fram Ultra - where's the manufacturer date code?

In a somewhat related item.
I noticed today at a Walmart in the fine city of Houston that Bosch D+ have a sticker on the bottom of the box that says "October 2014" or similar.
Fast movers like Honda filters (D3323 iirc) were all 2014 but presumably slower movers (D3311 iirc) some were as old as 2012.
Of course there was a cellophane wrapped XG that was old enough to say "new 2 layers" on it for something.
From which date new release of FRAM XG started?
(With two new layers?)
