Hello again!

Like said in my Napa Gold post it was also time for my jeep's oil change.

My Jeep has 137.4k miles.... I need to update my signature...

Last oil change:
Mobil 1 High Mileage 10w30 with Fram TG8A on 6000 mile oci.

This oil change:
5 quarts of Pennzoil HighMileage 5w30 with 1 quart of Pennzoil HighMileage 10w40 and another Fram TG8A. Going to plan on a 5000 mile oci for this run.

As the NapaGold (Wix) quality being typical. So was this Fram filter. Pleats were strong, no tears, filter overall looked really good.

Hope you all enjoy :]

A little wide spacing but nothing I'm really worried about

Oh and crazyoildude, yes the Pennzoil High Mileage jugs were filled the whole way and no, there were no leaks lol.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Looks good, did the job. Hard to read the date code (A60621 ??). If so, then made the 62nd calendar day in 2016 (red part in the code).

Hmmm I thought the date code was A30321. I couldn't tell just looking at the can either.

No problem! Starting to get cold here now. It's getting in the 20s and lower 30s in the morning

Looks good! Nice oil choice as well. I've found Pennzoil conventional and Pennzoil High Mileage run quietest in my 4.0L engine and the other three 4.0's I maintain. The used oil analysis I've done suggest it is a good match as well. KCJeep on here has had good success with Pennzoil oils in his 4.0 also.

Thanks. Pennzoil High Mileage is what I've always used, at least for the past 40k miles. It shows it's done really well, as when I took my valve cover off the last week of august, it was completely spotless. I just wanted to try some different oils (T6, Mobil 1 High Mileage).

I will say that my jeep seemed to like everything I tried. I think the key for success in these 4.0s is a high HT/HS. Something like 3.3 or higher keeps them quiet.

I know KCJeep, he is the one that answers all my oil questions lol!

Thanks

Been waiting a while now.

I'm sorry I'm a bad person! I cut it and didn't post.

It looked great, 36 straight well spaced pleats, pretty much like what is posted above but not quite as many pleats. Fram definitely improved the PH16's and PH8A's last year.

No problem.

I've done it before too.

Will most likely do it with my Ultra too because it WONT be on there 15,000 miles. Lol

Yeah I forgot about the filter you had on KCJeep, I was looking forward to seeing that.

I would have no problems at all using one of them, zero. Thanks for posting.

Agreed, Demarpaint. I think almost all the vehicles and lawn equipment are using a TG except my motorcycle LOL
