I ran this for 3K on my 2012 Scion xB with 0w-20 R&P. Because these engines have a history of oil consumption I follow TCCN recommendation of 5K or six month changes. Two things to note: the pleats were flared out on both sides of the crimp and there was a good amount of carbon grit in every pleat as well as in the can. I think there’s little doubt that Restore & Protect actually does remove carbon deposits based on the two vehicles I’m using it in currently.
