Some reports of non-wire backed Titaniums have been seen. Probably now going the way of the OG Ultra.TITANIUM becomes the original Ultra .

Email from Fram said the FE is 99% @ 20μ. But waiting until what they show when it's actually shown on their website. So which is more efficient at 20 microns, the Endurance or the current Ultra offering?
Fram does on their other filter models (PH, TG, XG), so they probably will for the FE.The testing graph appears to show 99%@25 microns for the RP. If Fram is stating 99%@20 Microns I wonder if They'll tell us based on which filters they tested to meet that spec.
Shows pretty much right at 99% @ 20μ on the higher scale resolution graph. The testing graph appears to show 99%@25 microns for the RP.
You're right... That graph is definitely showing 20@99% so that is great news. Thanks for re-posting this graph! I'm starting to get real excited about the Endurance.
It is sad to see an unused OG XG8A get cut up-but the good news is, there’s a fair number of those in my attic, stil!
Depends lol. What calibre? 45-70?338 Finnish Lapua, 50BMG?He purchased it so he can do whatever he wants with it.
If I purchase a hunting rifle and use it for target practice am I just wasting its usage because I'm not using it exclusively for hunting?
Not really, the expensive filters have a seal on the box, if you break the seal, you bought it.Heck you can do that at Wal-Mart without buying it and cutting it open
They didn't have a seal on the box at Wal-mart. I know this because I was at Wal-Mart todayNot really, the expensive filters have a seal on the box, if you break the seal, you bought it.
The Wal Marts here in Louisville have a sealed box..They didn't have a seal on the box at Wal-mart. I know this because I was at Wal-Mart today
Have you actually looked at the HE boxes yet?The Wal Marts here in Louisville have a sealed box..
YES and they are sealed along with the ultra filters too...Have you actually looked at the HE boxes yet?
Because FRAM wouldn't send differently sealed boxes to different distribution centers for Wal-Mart
Looks to be the same coating as they use on the Titanium, but dark blue instead of black on the Titanium.... the coating did not seem as "grippy" to me as the classic Suregrip but it covered the whole filter.
The cartridge and canister filters are not always the same material....
The easiest way to examine the filter media is by looking at a cartridge filter. Heck you can do that at Wal-Mart without buying it and cutting it open
On the top flaps, but not the bottom ones of boxes I've checked. Not really, the expensive filters have a seal on the box, if you break the seal, you bought it.
