Fram Endurance - synthetic and wire backed

Here's a photo off Walmart. With some exposure and contrast adjustments it certainly looks like louvers in the center tube (see attached). The base plate does look a bit "Royal Purple-ish".

If it's Royal Purple media, which it does look like a similar wire backed design, then the efficiency is pretty good per the efficiency testing that Ascent did.

I really hope this Link works, LOL, I am seeing alot of plastic, I might want to call this the Darth Vader Oil Filter. The Link works, but anyways, look at the pics pf the Oil Filter. Yes, this is a Wally World thing that I attached.
I see no "plastic".

Inside of the Oil Filter, did you look at the pics on the left side of the Link I posted? There are like 4 pictures!

Yes, I've looked at everything. It doesn't have an eCore center tube, so where is all this "plastic"? The media backing might be black nylon mesh, and the bypass valve high temp nylon. That's not a real photo, just artwork. See my previous posts for real photos.

Assuming this is the Champ synthetic media, its the first time I've seen a mileage associated with it. I'm sure Fram has done testing to ensure it will hold up.

The big headscratcher to me is what happened to the original Fram Ultra media. I guess it become too expensive to produce/procure, and Fram moved on from it.

As previously noted, many RP spin on filters have been showing up with ecore nylon tubes. The vid shows one example. Also in Amazon recent comments, pics show (scroll down to reviews) what appears to be the newer RP ecore design. https://www.amazon.com/Royal-Purple-10-2867-Oil-Filter/dp/B003L31RHI

That said, "if" the FE cut open pics/diagram at WM are accurate, seems to be RP like filter but using louvers instead of the ecore. Champ Labs has been using louvered tubes for a long time. That would fit with the Champ Labs baseplate design too. So a "Fram" with Champ Labs DNA. Not a reintroduction of the OG Ultra or AAP Titanium by another name as speculated.

Yeah, just like RP, the FE may have a louvered or eCore center tube depending on model (smaller sized models get an eCore perhaps?). What I showed was the specific FE artwork and specific modle RP and FE photos shows a louvered center tube.
