Fram Endurance - synthetic and wire backed

I'm thinking this is a Titanium, rebadged. I asked the girl who was stocking the items if the Ultras are going on clearance and she said no.

So the Ultra would no longer be Fram's ultimate filter?
The new filter needs a better name to sound more impressive than the Ultra, i.e. : Ultimate Ultra, Super Xtra Ultra, Mega Super Ultimate Xtra Ultra, Infinity Utmost Optimum Ultra.

First Brands should have left the OG Ultra (and its' positive reputation among gear heads) alone, and slotted the current Ultra construction under the OG Ultra with a different name.
Maybe they didn’t call it ultra because it’s not? A filter with 1/4” screen mesh could say it filters 99% of all pea gravel and would last 25k, but it’s certainly not better than an ultra

... Don't you just love it when a company spends more time/money on their marketing than the actual product itself? This is one of the main reasons I switched to the Microgard Select filter. This ploy by FRAM just makes me dislike them even more.
I like everything about the MGS filter for my application but the bypass at the bottom. Seems like it would pick up contaminates too easily.

I'm wondering if it is a rebadged and coated Fram Racing filter. Why I asked about efficiency rating, I believe those are 94% @ 20 microns.

Interesting to note these arent e-core either.
True, 'IF' the representation on the box is accurate. Often seen where box representation not indicative of what seen on the actual filter.

Anyone seen the tube in person? Or, the filter for that matter?

As noted, the one I saw on WM. com has a Champ Labs type baseplate design. Possible Champ Labs RP full syn clone-ish. 'Iirc', those now use ecore tube.

Far more questions than answers now. And personally based on recent experience, imo pointless to contact reps for info on it.

Box art look closer to louvers than it does to an eCore center tube. If the OP has the filter in hand, them a shot of the center tube will show what's going on.
