salesrep, sorry I did not get the marketing name correct for the soy based gasoline additive. 131C was tested by us when Bob Winters brought some about 4 years ago. Is the 131C reformulated since then?

Joel, Both diesel and gasoline applications using Lucas fuel adds have been inert when gauged by UOA. Customers may insist on running the adds and if the UOA is OK I do not press the issue after making my suggestions based on the results compared to our data base of the same engine and application.

Sorry Bio T, I have asked multiple people how much 131 is by PM and email and I have recieved no answers. I sure wish I could buy Shaeffers locally, the stuff looks promising but it is hard to get. Anywhere to get Shaeffers in No California anyone?

Probably the only way you are going to get a single case of 131C is from Tim Mills

By the way its not cheap. Then again neither is FP60 when you only want 32oz at a time..

Lucas UCL is the only additive which has shown an increase in my mpgs. I'd say 1-2 miles per gallon increase.

I've used up my gallon of FP60 with NO increase in MPGs. HOWEVER, the intake ports were as clean as new and that was reason enough for me.

I will not buy FP60 again. I will start using Lucas UCL till FP3000 hits the streets.

Yep, that's it...I ran it for a year and now I'm trying FP...mileage is actually down the past 2 months, but I'll keep running it til my 3 gals are up and then look at the averages.

I have been getting about .2 of a mile per gallon more using Lucas UCL than without. When I am done with my current supply of the Lucas I will give the FP-60 a try.
