Found Mobil 3309 in Ottawa !!!!

Hey Oil Heads,
I managed to get a case of 12 quarts Mobil 1 -3309 , Tranny oil for my 02 Rav-4, at a price of $4.75/ quart,
YA thats right and thats Canadian bucks.!!!!!
@ Local Esso dealer where I buy my XD-3 oil...,

The Toyota dealer wanted $7.50/ quart for T-IV fluid....
No thanks.

Any way I know what my weekend plans are now >

That's synthetic ATF, correct? Just wondering as the bulk dealer is around the corner from here...

Type 3309 is NOT simply synthetic ATF. It is a different spec. Not same as Dexron. For some Toyota, Lexus, Saab, Volvo, Ford. Not same as multi-vehicle ATF.

10-4. Have a couple of ATF+4 transmissions/transfer cases...

3309 is not synthetic and not +4. It is the ATF specified for use in many Aisin-Warner transmissions. Many of the multi-vehicle or (near) universal ATFs, including many synthetics, say that they are suitable for these transmissions, but only 3309, including the 3309 with car maker's labels on the bottle, actually meet the A-W spec.

Older ones took Dexron, newer ones take T-IV, newest ones take WS. Only ones requiring WS are the ones in new Toyotas.
