So what do you make of Red Bull?

Do you think that it makes sense not to have the whole team behind the World Championship contender?

Why would anyone want to give that opportunity away and potentially hand the title on a plate to Alonso?

I think they're doing a good thing for Formula 1 by allowing the internal competition. It made the race far more interesting.

If there's a situation next week where Vettel can't win the championship but Webber can, I'd expect Vettel to assist Webber. But Vettel still has a chance, and he should be allowed to go for it.

Red Bull is doing the right thing by letting Vettel and Webber race. Everyone is scratching their heads as to WHY?

Um, do people have to apologize now for doing the right thing?

The team has already won the manufacturers' championship. They are doing the right thing by letting their guys race (fairly - cleanly) for the drivers' championship. They don't owe an explanation to anyone.

Even if logically letting vettel win that race over webber was not the smartest thing for them to do, I think redbull made the right decision. People want to see real racing and not team order decision making [censored].

The pay-out money is all behind the WCC, the bragging rights are all behind the WDC. Which pot do you think a constructor SHOULD go after: Big pot of Money or 15-minutes of fame?

Any team wanting to remain in F1 will choose the big pot of Money.

Vettel is a sensible man and will do the right thing and allow Webber to pass IF Alonso is close behind them on the last lap. This is because he is a chivalrous and noble gentleman. I think he will do this even though the ******e Webber ran him off the road in Turkey, which is likely to be the REASON why Vettel will not have enough points to be champion at the end of the day.
I just hope we see some smoke out of the back of the Ferrari to make right what happened in Germany.
Then we can see Vettel and Weber prove who the best man is.

Holding your line and giving the overtaker a full car width beside you while watching him cut into the side of your car is now considered running a guy off the road?

Well, you see it was only then, at that race, that Vettel learned that Webber (his teammate) was not willing to give him some road even though Vettel was clearly much faster at that point and had passed him 3/4 of the way. To be fair to Webber, this is the way he does everybody on the track, and he's just been real lucky to have come out of a series of impacts still able to drive. But I think its ridiculous to do it to your teammate especially when you are holding that teammate up from advancing.

I wonder what happened to Webber?, he seemed to be within a couple tenths of Vettel most of the year until when it really counted at the end of the season... I'd love to see driver and car telemetry to see what the differences were in the last race, Vettel was so much faster.

I'm glad to see Vettel win the championship as he would have possibly won it earlier if his car had not let him down a couple times throughout the year. For next season I'm hoping Michael Schumacher is in better form and Ferrari gets a more competitive car. Should be a great season!

Its pretty obvious that Vettel will only improve next year. Lets hope he has a competitive car and has the chance to show what he's made of. I really like this guy because he is such a gentleman, unlike the other 95% hot-heads that are driving. A well deserved world championship title for him.

Yeah, I think Vettel is a big favorite to repeat next year. I wasn't cheering for Red Bull at all for most of the season, but I was happy it worked out for them.

Does anyone know if there will be any major driver or team changes next season? Either I haven't heard of any, or I've simply forgotten.

Don't know of much except that Nico Hulkenburg is being booted off the Williams team to make way for a "pay" driver who is bringing 15 million in sponsor money with him. This will backfire on Williams. They've kept Barrachello who is long past his prime and not performing well, and booted Nico (a man who beat ALL in qualifying under slippery track conditions for Pole Position during a recent race.)
I think Hulkenburg will eventually be competing with Vettel for the championship in a few years once a team with a good car picks him up. He's obviously very good.

Barrichello did alright. More points than Hulkenburg. But Hulkenburg is on his way up, while Barrichello is likely on his way down. Barrichello seems like a good guy to have on a team for both his experience and attitude. It was probably a perfect setup to have Hulkenburg learning from him. Maybe the pay driver would rather have Barrichello to work with and compete against. Who is the pay driver?

No big deal. Hulkenburg will get a ride.

Pastor Maldonado is the "pay" driver. He's from Venezuela. Bringing along some serious and controversial sponsor money. I think we'll see big things from Hulkenberg in the future.

Hopefully he is better than the other Venezuelan driver in motorsports with "sponsor money" ie Milka Duno.
