Ford Mercon Lv compatibility

Buddies 17 Passat with 6At , believe it's a asin transmission . OEM is a LV fluid , any thoughts on using the Motorcraft LV ? I see people using the Valvoline for everything fluid was seemingly no issues . It's actually his daughter's car .

Fluid that meets whatever spec or at least claims on the bottle to be compatible is readily available at a similar price, right?

Well I have 13 qts of the Motorcraft LV I'd like to make disappear.

My 2017 Ford Fusion calls for LV ATF. I only used M1 LV HP atf and the trans shifts great up and down. I do the drain and fill every 30-35 K and the fluid drains out very clean as apposed to the MC LV fluid which drained out very dark the first two D&Fs I did.

I have no idea but post up what you do and if possible long term results should you choose the Motorcraft

If your looking for a MC LV fluid off the shelf I’d run Valvoline EP

Mercon LV is not the same as Aisin WS. I would not recommend using the LV in an Aisin trans.
