ford fairmont tail lights

does anyone know where i might find a pair of tail lights for my ford fairmont? the only place i can think of is ebay; and they have them, but its $120 for the pair shipped. i REALLY dont wanna put a hundred dollars in this car if i dont have to. i havent checked any nearby junkyards yet, but dont have my hopes up for when i do

so with all the car knowledge on this site, i thought maybe someone might know of a site or place that sells parts for old fords.
any input would be most helpful. thank you.

I would call the nearest junkyard that has a computerized parts location service and/or fill out a request on getusedparts.com.

I agree that the price of $120 is high, but you are at the point where there are few of these cars still in the junkyards, supporting a very small number of cars on the road.

The Fairmont is also a name of a mobile home. Makes searching a little odd. The (hot rod) Ford Fairmonts for sale now are nicer than my dads ever was, BTW.

that fairmont will run forever problem is now the parts are a little hard to find and they want a lot for them...Some auto parts stores can order them aftermarket for older more common cars....

Ford futura, Mercury Cougar for a couple years, yeah a 4 door cougar.

There's some jerk spamming my local craigslist with a buick century tail light EVERY SINGLE DAY. He should just go out with a pellet gun and create a need.
