The pro looks like a decent deal. The rest is just adding more overpriced stuff that will fail. Hopefully some useful things will be available a la carte for reasonable prices.
Im not a huge fan of Ford trucks, but the pro is intriguing to me for the price.
Imagine what it will be in another 25 yrs... we’ll need 30 yrs notes to pay for them. And I’m not talking about the houses. The MSRP of the platinum is more than what I paid for my house 24 years ago.
Most folks are very accustomed to making continuous monthly payments on their vehicles. My guess is most won't notice if the duration gets extended from 5-7 years to 30. Eventually they'll just trade it in and the remaining balance will roll into the new loan and follow you to the grave, at which point it'll be the next of kin's problem.Imagine what it will be in another 25 yrs... we’ll need 30 yrs notes to pay for them. I paid a lariat after tax credit for my house 4 years ago...The MSRP of the platinum is more than what I paid for my house 24 years ago.
I can say with great certainty I would forget that the front was a space where I could store things until I accidentally opened it with the key fob and it revealed itself to me like a hidden room in a haunted house.
Curious, how ya gonna charge? What will you use the truck for?Pro with extended range is what I’m getting. Nothing more. But it almost seems too good to be true. Let’s see if ford actually keeps their word and delivers the base pro without any catch, like forcing you to buy into a expensive package just to get extended range.
Assuming $10k for the extended range, $50k isn’t all that bad for a crew cab half ton with 400+ hp, awd, and doesn’t use gasoline. I almost traded my Tacoma for a F150 hybrid but they were priced around 55-60k, and even though it’s a hybrid the 30 gallon tank seems to counter any money saved by going with a hybrid.

A mystery of the universe.Am i reading this correctly, roughly $50,000 of trim spread? This is an absurd amount of money for trim and features. Is the Pro underpriced or they just sticking it to those that can pay for more?
