Ford 1.0L Ecoboost Engine

Does this engine use both direction and port injection? I can't find any info on this. Thanks!

Cool looking piston. I'd suspect it's direct injection only, but don't know. There are 180HP versions of this engine, so it's possible that there are various configurations.

It's direct injection. There's a ford patent where the intake valve stays open for a moment longer and lets fuel wash over the valve but I don't know if the 1.0L has it.

Direct injection on the 1.0 EcoBoost 3 cylinder. Direct AND Port Injection on the newest 1.5 EcoBoost 3 cylinder (as used in the current-Gen Ford Focus, at least).
