I found the papers showing the injector nozzles and spray pattern. DI spray patterns are a little different.

Does this include TBI like on my 89 5.7? The one time I watched my mech look them over they looked like H&K or C
Sure. TBI is only different in the position they are located and the amount of flow. DI is were things can get really different, I did some today that had 4 different streams, it seems they are tailoring the spray pattern to the combustion chamber characteristics, spark plug and valve location, piston hot spots, etc.

Yes, people these day forget a timing light is not only good for setting/checking timing.

After watching my mech that time that is what I thought it looked like, continuous, if it's pulsating it's happening faster than my eyes can see.

Pulse width is how the ECM regulates the fuel going into the engine. If it didn't it would just be static flow.
