Rustproofing and rubber vacuum lines in my F-250

Krown is made to be safe for wiring. Not sure about the foam stuff.
Fluid film is just sheep hair grease.
A hose is easier to repalce than a whole car.

Would a silicone vacuum line fared better?

^ Or coat a non-silicone vac line, in silicone grease which should provide a fair bit of insulation from the rustproofing goop.

Yes. The mineral oil or lanolin based products do not effect silicone, plastics, etc.

They will soften and expand soft rubber components, mainly foam rubber, like weatherstripping or old spongy hose.

I've been using Fluid Film for nearly 20 years. It softens and expands rubber components. Door seals in particular are compromised easily. Thick heavy rubber components like bushings do not seem affected, however I always wipe off brake hoses just in case.
