HAve 130k on my F150 and just had to flush and fill the coolant.I agonized over what to use. I considered Dexcool(factory fill), Cummins Compleat OAT, and John Deere Cool Gard II.

Decided on the Cool Gard II. A little weird figuring out the flush procedure as it uses a cold side thermostat. I removed the thermostat, flushed with Cummins Restore Plus, and filled with the Cool Gard II.

Hopefully I made a good choice. It wont have to last as long as the original as the truck will probably be gone by the time it wears out.

I did send a coolant sample to Cat, and will post the results.

Dexcool gets a bad rap because GM used some junky gaskets long ago that weren't up to the job.. I use it and if you have a properly maintained system, I doubt it will cause issues. If you didn't get all the old coolant out, you could have issues later.
