Hi,

I'm going to a wedding of a good college friend tomorrow. My girlfriend (of 2.5 years) will be coming to, and so I'm curious if its customary when taking a 'date' to a wedding, if one should give a corsage or similar to their date.

This isnt a prom, and all the info Ive found online pertains to proms or people getting married or involved in the wedding.

I like getting her flowers, and give her gifts, but am not sure if I should have a flower for her, since the wedding party will all have fowers, and we're just attending.

Maybe Im confusing myself too much, and should just do what I feel like doing - getting her one.

Any advice? thanks!

Are you kidding?
Figure out the points earned, vs. dollars spent for flowers.
God forbid there is another couple where the guy has flowers for the girls, and you don't!
20 years from now, it will still come up as ammunition for an argument!
Sorry, you lose.. flowers and anything else, are yours to buy!

You can't go wrong with tulips.

ok... I will ge them.

I havent been to many weddings (only three that I can think of), and dont really remember seeing non wedding party people having flowers...

But youre right... ill get her a nice corsage.

Thanks!
